Data
Data and code
The data, results and code behind every study we publish, so anyone can check the work or build on it.

Provincial Rules, American States
Everything needed to rebuild the study's results: one command reruns the analysis from the data, checks every published table and prints the headline figures, including the $806.7 billion expected increase in government health spending.
- Data: 2020 health spending by state and type of care (CMS), 2019 and 2020 CMS state accounts, each province's government share of spending by type of care (from CIHI), and the ten matching factors for 50 states and 10 provinces.
- Results: every state under every province's rules (500 rows), the state-by-state results in Appendix A, and the sensitivity checks.
- Code: Python scripts with a single run file, and a README explaining each file and its sources.
